![]() ![]() From my perspective the channels just stopped working "all of a sudden on their own" which seems totally ridiculous/not possible lol. I am at a total loss, so I thought I would write here to see if anyone has encountered the problem before, or have some insight as to what a resolution would be. I saw older posts talking about confirming versions, uninstall and re-install the emulators/channels, etc (I did those as well just to be thorough). Edit: my Snes9x gx is version 4.4.8 and the snes9x gx channel installer is version 1.2 My FCE Ultra Gx is version 3.4.7 and the FCE Ultra Gx channel installer is version 1.2 Actually if it helps my homebrew is version 1.1.2 ISO58 v25. I checked through on for any news about updates or changes about the forwarders, but I didnt see anything. Usb Loader Gx Channel Install Wad (if you already dont have it) with WiiMOD Lite or other wad 2 On Wii U extract the contents of the package on your SD. I tried to re-install the emulators, and re-installed the vWii channel forwarders, but they still didnt load. I checked on the WiiBrew site, and noticed in Apr 2019 there was an update done. Currently the 'vba GX' channel forwarder still works from within the vWii menu. ![]() I then used the *.wads for those 3 on the vWii. Everything has just sat there, then one day the channels stopped working (so unless homebrew apps update themselves somehow, nothing else could have changed).ĭuring the initial homebrew setup in Feb 2019, I did emulators for 'FCE Ultra GX' and 'Snes9xGX' and 'vbaGX'. I have made absolutely no changes to the file system on the SD card, and not changed any channels or homebrew emulators since the initial setup. So I'd say try another forwarder if that's the case. Im playing through Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn on Wii right now and its great. While we have shown you how to hack your Wii for homebrew before, new editions of the Wii operating system software require different techniques for soft-modding. First, this project requires a soft-modded Wii unit that can run homebrew software. At least one game ROM for each emulator you're installing. If it works then the issue is definitely the forwarder channel which may be pointing to the incorrect file path for some reason like you've guessed. Copy your games to the Emulation/roms folder created by the installer. One copy of SNES9x GX for SNES emulation. The same symptoms occur for both channel forwarders. Go to the Homebrew channel (assuming you have it installed but I'm guessing you do) and run Snes9x GX from there. When I click into them, then press on the Start button of the forwarder, it goes to the "Loading." menu for about 2 seconds, then black screen for about 3 seconds, then loads back into the vWii menu. Back in about May 2019 I noticed that the channel forwarders for my 'FCE Ultra GX' and 'Snes9xGX' stopped working.
